New DBS 1.5% Promotion For Year End Bonus

After the POSB fresh fund promotion, DBS is now targeting your year end bonus. This promotion starts from 8th Dec to 31st Dec.

Basically, you need to start off by registering and indicating the amount of year end bonus you want to save. The earmarking will be done by 15th Feb 2015 for a period of 6 months ending 30th June 2015.

I tried calling DBS to clarify on the term "bonus" and they confirmed that its not fresh funds but strictly your year end salary + bonus. I find the terms and condition for this particular promotion to be very stringent. First, your year end bonus must be credited into your DBS account. Second, your bonus must enter by 31st Dec. If you fail any of the two, you will be disqualified. If you can fulfill all the specific nuances from them, this will be another risk free cash giveaway for you.
